Betty Mcclure

Betty Lou McClure, 79, of RR1 Box 433, Lawrenceville, passed away at 9:55 p.m. Monday February 25, 2013 at Good Samaritan Hospital.The daughter of Cecil and Helen (Mallory) McClure, she was born July 4, 1933 in Knox County.Betty was a nurses assistant for 30 years at Daviess County Community Hospital. A graduate of Bruceville High School, she lived in Bicknell for many years. She loved crocheting, crossword puzzles, and spending time with her grandchildren.Surviving is a daughter, Stephanie Mills and her husband, Shannon of Lawrenceville: two sisters, Helen Agnes Smith of Atlanta, Ga, and Gladys Dunbar of Sullivan; and two grandchildren, Logan and Shayla Mills.Betty was preceded in death by her parents, and several brothers and sisters.There will be no public services.
