Janice Mckibbin

Janice A. McKibbin, 75, passed away at 4:00 am on April 13, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Janice was born on January 27, 1939 the daughter of Claude and Vera (Ray) Ray. Janice married Terry McKibbin on July 2, 1955 and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2008.Janice attended Russelville Community Church and later Bethlehem General Baptist. She had worked for Central Industries and then became a CNA working at Crestview Nursing Home. She then worked for Sodexho food services at Vincennes University. She enjoyed playing bingo, sewing, crocheting, crafts, and especially enjoyed making dolls. Janice loved flowers and cooking and was a wonderful baker.Survivors include her companion, Clarence Devine; son, Terry McKibbin and his wife Heather of Vincennes; daughters, Victoria Robinson and her husband Keith, of Vincennes; Kim Clymer and her husband, Mark of Vincennes; Vera Brown and her husband, Greg of St. Francisville, IL; eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren. Janice was preceded in death by one sister, Linda Lane and one brother, Danny Ray.Funeral services for Janice will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway with Pastor Pete White officiating. Burial will follow in Russellville Cemetery. Friends may visit with Janice's family on Wednesday from 12:00 until the hour of service time of 2:00 pm at the funeral home.
