Jerry Chestnut

Jerry Allen Chestnut, 42, passed away at 8:56 am on September 24, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital. Jerry was born on September 13, 1972 the son of Carl David and Gillis (Henzman) Chestnut.Jerry loved to fish with his daughter's. He enjoyed playing pool, riding motorcycles, and working on car's and anything mechanical. He was a coal miner and welder at one time as well.Survivors include his mother, Gillis Henzman, of Vincennes, daughters, Samantha and Alisa Chestnut of Vincennes; brother, Gary David Chestnut of Vincennes; half-sister, Bonnie Hanlon of Greencastle and niece Raven Chestnut of Vincennes. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, sister, Rebeccka Ann Chestnut and Uncle Gerald McNabb.There will be a private funeral service held for Jerry at a later date with Pastor Seth Alexander officiating.
