Joy Morgan

Joy M. Morgan, 68, of Lawrenceville, IL passed away December 21, 2022. She was born in Vincennes, IN on August 22, 1954, to the late Cecil Morgan Sr. and Wilma (Reed) Morgan. Joy attended South Knox High School and graduated in 1972. She was a member of the local American Legion Auxiliary, Fountain Fellowship, Eagles Lodge, and VFW. Joy worked for many years at Subway. In her free time, Joy enjoyed playing cards, coloring, shopping, playing bingo, spending time with her family, friends, and dog. She will be deeply missed by all. Joy was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Janet Wininger, Judy Riker and Cecil Morgan Jr. She is survived by her children Heather (Chad) Carrell, Amber Hudson, Jesus (Frankie) Cancino Jr.; grandchildren Austin (Camray) Winchell, Cecil Carrell, Cameron (Carolina) Carrell, Jesus (Kali) Cancino III, Kayla (Kelsey) Hudson, Corey Carrell, Easton Cancino; great-grandchildren Hayden and Naveah Winchell; friend Sheila Kenworthy; dog Mila; and many nieces and nephews. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and entrusted with the care of Ms. Morgan. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at 524 Broadway St. Vincennes, IN 47591 from 11-1 EST. A funeral service will be held December 27, 2022 at 1pm EST with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery following immediately.
