Lawrence "Larry" Wayne Clemens, 77, of 440 Zachary Drive, Vincennes, passed away at 1:00 a.m. Sunday March 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1935 in Princeton to J. Pool and Dorothy Mae (Lawrence) Clemens.Larry retired from teaching in 1999. He first started teaching at Franklin Elementary and then moving to Clark Middle School where he finished his career.His memberships included the Upper Indiana Church, Masonic Lodge in Princeton where he was a 50 plus year member, American Legion, and the ISTA. Larry served in the Army and enjoyed going to yard sales.Surviving is his wife, Cheryl Manning Clemens whom he married October 1, 1994; his children, Sean (Monica) Knabel of Freelandville, Brittany (Matthew) Livermore of Vincennes, Robert (Natalie) Clemens of New Baden, IL, Lisa (Danny) Hughes of Martinsville, and Laura (Mike) Eads of Patoka; his grandchildren, Olivia Knabel, Eden Livermore., Joshua and Christopher Clemens, Leah Wickered, and Cory Eads; along with a cousin, Carolyn Butts of Princeton, and several other cousins.A Memorial Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, 2013 at Upper Indiana Presbyterian Church with Rev. Alan Finnan officiating. Friends may visit with the family from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Memorial contributions may be made to the Lord's Warehouse.
