Albert Eugene Fox, 91, of Newburgh, Indiana went to be with the Lord on September 20, 2025. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana, as one of nine children born to Prentice and Ruth Fox on March 17, 1934. Gene proudly served his country for 20+ years during the Korean and Vietnam War in both the United State Army and the Airforce. After returning from his time overseas he graduated from trade school and became a machinist. He retired from Special Project Manufacturing as their head estimator after 15 years. Gene was a member of the American Legion, VFW and Military Officers Association. He also was a former member of the Living Water Ministry in Virginia and the Hatfield Methodist Church in Hatfield, Indiana.

In his free time, Gene enjoyed watching old car restoration shows, traveling, getting together with family and being involved in his church. He will be deeply missed.

Gene is preceded in death by his parents Prentice and Ruth Fox; daughter Denise Gysin; daughter in law Patricia Fox; siblings Mary Cannon, Julia Crisco, Junior Fox, Henry Fox, Ira Fox; and brother-in-law Gary Richter.

He is survived by his companion Thelma Gilbert; children Charles (Bonnie) Fox and Edward Fox; siblings Dick (Linda) Fox, Janet (John) Wayman, Carol Richter; 8 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Mr. Fox. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025, at 1 pm at Wabash Community Church, 1033 N. 10th Street and all are welcome to attend.
