Anna Marie Walker, a devoted nurse and cherished member of the Glezen Revival Center, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2026, at her home. Born on July 3, 1936, Anna dedicated most of her life to the nursing profession, touching countless lives through her compassionate care and unwavering commitment.
Anna's talents extended far beyond her professional life. She was known for her love of quilting, drawing, crocheting, cooking, and decorating her home with warmth and creativity. Her artistry and personal touch brought joy and comfort to those around her, reflecting the generosity of spirit that defined her life.
She is survived by her beloved husband, Bobby Walker, and her two sons, Darrell Phillippe and Rex Phillippe. Anna's legacy also lives on through her grandchildren: David Phillippe, Dustin Phillippe, Denton Phillippe, Rachel Ronfeldt, Zack Phillippe, Judy Culp, Nick Berkson, and Nate Berkson. She was also deeply connected to her sisters, Jane Doll and Brenda Leighty, who remain close family pillars.
Anna was preceded in death by her daughter, Cheri Berkson, as well as her parents, Ansel and Ines Cofer. She also mourned the loss of her brother Harmon Cofer and sister Ila Kemper.
A visitation will be held on June 17, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Fairview Cemetery located on Willow Street in Vincennes, Indiana. Following the visitation, a graveside service will take place at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, where family, friends, and community members will gather to honor her memory and celebrate a life beautifully lived.
Anna Marie Walker's kindness, talents, and dedication to her family and community leave an enduring legacy. Her spirit will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her. She will be fondly remembered, deeply missed, and forever treasured.
