Barbara Elaine Daffron, 82, of Avon, Indiana, passed away on April 1, 2026, at Countryside Meadows in Avon.

She was born on August 13, 1943, in Lawrenceville, Illinois. She attended Lawrenceville High School and was a member of the 1961 class.

Barbara worked for Universal Scientific in Vincennes as a line supervisor for several years until her diagnosis. She made boards for the backs of TVs and radios while there. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, and spending time with her family. She also loved to cook and made many delicious meals.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Daffron.

She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Jackson and her husband Terry Burnworth, and Jerry Daffron Jr; her grandchildren, Jenny Norris, Paige Jackson, Perry Burnworth, and Laina Burnworth; and her siblings, Ann (Tim) Kaiser, and Robert Price.

A graveside service for Barbara will be held on Friday, April 10, 2026, at 11:00am at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes.
