Brian Joseph Qualkenbush, 52, born on September 3, 1972, in Vincennes, Indiana, the son of Doris Bond and Fred Qualkenbush, Jr. passed away on October 4, 2025, in Evansville, Indiana.
Brian graduated from Castle High School and attended Ball State University. For many years, Brian worked as a concrete finisher, a profession that showcased his dedication and skill. He was known not only for his craftsmanship but also for the strength of character he exhibited in every endeavor he undertook.
A true sports enthusiast, Brian was an avid fan of the Los Angeles Dodgers and had a deep passion for Indiana University basketball, and the Dallas Cowboys, and Oklahoma Sooners football teams. Sprint car racing also captivated his interest, filling his life with exhilarating memories. He enjoyed many visits to Tri State Speedway in Haubstadt, IN.
Family was the cornerstone of Brian’s life. He loved big and cherished his family deeply. He is survived by his brothers Fred Qualkenbush and Chester Qualkenbush, step-brother, Eric Jones, son Brayden Crozier, and his wife Peyton, his grandchildren Jace, Finley, and Brielle Crozier, stepmother Anita Qualkenbush, niece Brook Qualkenbush and his nephew Braiden Qualkenbush. His special bond with Keith and Teresa Dallas, whom he considered honorary parents, provided him with a sense of belonging and love. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and special friends who loved him dearly. Brian is preceded in death by his parents, Doris Partridge and Fred Qualkenbush, Jr.
A graveside service to celebrate Brian's life will be held at 1:00 pm est on Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, Indiana with Deacon Pat Herman Officiating. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Brian and his family.
