Candis Watkins

Candis Delores Watkins, 68, of Vincennes, IN went to be with the Lord on June 23, 2024. She was born January 30, 1956, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes, IN to the late Rosell and Henrietta Elizabeth (Ford) Watkins. Candis attended Clark Middle and Lincoln High School in the special education program and graduated in 1975. After finishing school she worked at KCARC for a couple years. In her free time Candis enjoyed watching westerns and spending time with her family and animals or pets.

She was preceded in death by her parents Rosell and Henrietta Watkins; brother Aaron Watkins; sister-in-law Judith Watkins; niece Jackie Cain.

Candis is survived by her siblings Cynthia Mae "Beak" (Butch) Mattox, Allen Lee "Bud" Watkins, Mary Ann Garrard, Rosetta Marie "Tate" Watkins, Julius Ray "Juju" (Barb) Watkins, Sara Lee "Stella" Weber, Delores Louise "Deedee" (Jim) Weber Jr.; nephews Tyson Nathan (Samantha Nelson) Mattox, Andrew Jacob Garrard, Brandon Michael Weber, JT (Krissy) Weber, Steven Anthony Watkins, Zachery Legg, Cody Milligan; nieces Dr. Elisheva Lee (Calvin) Tinsley, Kelsey Millan; great-nephews Izaya, Jace, Colton, Eli, Kaden, Julian, Christopher, Blain, Aidan; great-nieces Bethany, Tanisha, Jenna, Brienna, Alayjah, Alaynah, Elora, Maddy; great-great-nephew Cade; great-great-nieces Khloe, Nala, Saylor, Blair.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Watkins. A burial of cremated remains will be held July 12, 2024, at 1 pm in Memorial Park Cemetery.
