Carol Daubs

Carol Jean Daubs, 77, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 28, 2022. Carol was born on June 23, 1945 and she is the daughter of Walter Eugene and Madaline Elizabeth (Daniels) Travis. Carol was married to Byron "Fred" Daubs and they enjoyed a loving life together before his passing in 2018. Carol was a school teacher for many years. She enjoyed watching her students excel not only in the classroom, but in their lives as well. After retirement, Carol liked to read and collected many books. Survivors include her daughter, Amy Ridgley and husband David; her grandson Dane Joseph Ridgley; brother Terry K. Travis; and sister in law Martha Matthes and family. Preceding Carol in death are her husband, Byron "Fred" Daubs; and her parents. There are no services planned at this time.
