Carol Twitty

Carol M. Twitty, 77, of Bicknell, Indiana passed away on March 31, 2026. She was born in Vincennes, Indiana on April 17, 1948, to the late Will and Irene Woodsmall. Carol worked many years with Johnson Control and continued her career with Lewis Bakery until her retirement. Carol was an incredibly hard worker and fiercely independent. In her free time, she enjoyed eating at the American Table with her sisters, arranging flowers around her house, maintaining her yard, shopping a thrift stores, collecting souvenir miniature spoons, and spend as much time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as she could. Carol will be deeply missed.

She is preceded in death by her sons Jimmy and Danny Twitty; siblings Billy Woodsmall, Naomi Bell, Gloria Keller, and James Woodsmall.

Carol is survived by her son Steven (Erin) Twitty; grandchildren Daniel Twitty, Dawn (Grant) Earley, Keegan Twitty, Chloe Twitty, Kristen Stone; great-grandchildren Brylie Earley, Breea Earley, Emma Twitty; siblings Ethel Earley, Pat Hamon, and Richard Woodsmall.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ms. Twitty. A private burial will be held at a later date.
