Christopher W. Kirk

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Christopher W. Kirk, 62, who left us on November 8, 2025. Chris was born on October 22, 1963, in Vincennes the son of John and Helen (Riggle) Kirk.

Chris worked as a plumber and pipefitter and was part of the UA local union 136. He was known for his love of fishing and hunting. He found joy in the beauty of nature and spent many happy hours in the great outdoors, creating memories that will forever be treasured by those who knew him. 

Chris is survived by his father, John Kirk and his wife Hope of Ocala, Fl; his children, Miranda Henderson and her husband Jug of Vincennes, Hunter Kirk of Danville, IN, Lucy Kirk of Vincennes; his siblings, Angela Hopkins and her husband Wes of Sullivan, IN, Michelle Welton of Vincennes; and his grandchildren, McKenna, Ty and Kylee Henderson and Charlotte Smith. Chris is preceded in death by his mother, Helen Kirk.

Friends may visit with Chris's family from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN. A Celebration of Chris's life will follow the visitation beginning at 1:00 pm. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Chris and his family.
