D. Elaine Street

D. Elaine Street born on July 07, 1937 of Vincennes, IN passed away peacefully on September 10, 2026 leaving behind a legacy as bright and vibrant as the life she lived.

Elaine’s unforgettable laugh could light up any room and her kindness was a gift she shared with everyone. One of her greatest joys in life was loving her family. Driven by a deeply caring nature she found her true calling as an LPN dedicating most of her life to comforting and healing others.

Elaine is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert W. Street, Parents Harold O Allen, Dora A. Allen (Biddle), her son Rick L. Street, and grandson’s Ethan J. Street, R. Curtis Street and her brother Norman H. (Mike) Allen

Those left to cherish her memory are her children Pam Chesser, Kelli Spence, Chip Street (Marci). Her grandchildren Mike King, Robert King (Amber) Jessica Barmes (Nathan), Doogie Roberts (Caroline), Dorie Medler (Jed). Great grandchildren Kamdyn, Korbyn, Kynlee King. Ollie and Everett Barmes. Emma, Vivian and Penelope Roberts, Cambria Loy and Josiah Medler.

A private burial was held on September 17, 2026 at Memorial Park Cemetery in Vincennes, IN. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Elaine and her family.

A celebration of life will be held on a later date for Elaine’s family as they come together to cherish her memory
