It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of David Seth Sutton, 19, known to all as Seth, who left us far too soon on August 23, 2026. Born on September 19, 2006, in Newburgh, Indiana, he is the son of David Sutton and Shonda (Bowers) Sutton.

Seth was a vibrant young soul who touched the lives of many in his short time with us. He grew up in Vincennes, Indiana, where he embraced life with an enthusiasm. A lover of the outdoors, Seth found joy in skateboarding, hunting, and fishing. He cherished the moments spent with his close friends, often gathering to play video games that brought them together in laughter and camaraderie. Seth's loyalty and love extended to his cherished pets, his dog Match and his cats, Rose and Cinderella, who were his constant companions and sources of comfort.

Seth is survived by his father and step-mother, Dave and Teri Sutton of Vincennes; mother Shonda Sutton of Vincennes; his sister, Maggie Johnson and her husband Nathan; half-brother, Ronnie Ikemire II; paternal grandparents, Gene and Carolyn Sutton of Vincennes; maternal grandmother, Sandra Hennon, as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. 

Seth's wishes were to be cremated and there will be a Celebration of Life service held at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Seth and his family.
