Deborah Anne Robinson, aged 69, passed away on August 6, 2026, at her home in Washington, Indiana, after a long-term illness. Born on October 22, 1956, in Newport News, VA, to Mrs. Barbara Mousaw, Deborah (Debbi) lived a life defined by love, faith, and a deep compassion for all creatures. She was widely known for her unwavering kindness and her steadfast dedication to those she loved.

Debbi’s journey took her from Newport News to North Carolina and then to Phoenix, Arizona, where she met her greatest companion and the love of her life, Dr. David Robinson. They shared 39 years of marriage, a partnership and bond of care that led them from Iowa to Spruce Pine, North Carolina - where they ran a private medical practice, Blue Ridge General Surgery - before finally settling at their home in Washington, Indiana.

A woman of deep faith, Debbi believed in the Lord and sought to serve Him in all she did, sharing her witness with many throughout her life. She was a passionate animal lover who dedicated much of her life to helping cats, dogs, and horses. A major highlight of her life was the rescue of 27 dogs during Hurricane Katrina; she and David worked tirelessly to find forever homes for all 27. She also cherished travel, particularly a 2008 trip to Israel with her husband and niece, a memory they all held dear.

Cherishing her family connections above all, Debbi loved spending time with her late mother, Barbara, and treasured family reunions in the Outer Banks of North Carolina. She shared a particularly special bond with her brother, Neal, with whom she loved discussing childhood memories and going to the movies when they were younger.

She is survived by her devoted husband and caregiver, Dr. David Robinson; her brothers, Neal Fulk and David Mousaw; her niece, Britt Fulk, who shared a very close relationship with Debbi and was like a daughter to her; and many other relatives. Her home was filled with the love from her pets: her four Siamese cats, Roo Roo, Kanga, Zipp, and Buckley, and her two dogs, Michael and Palin.

Visitation for Debbi will be held on August 20, 2026, from 4:00-8:00pm ET at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State St., Washington, Indiana 47501.

If Debbi could share one final message, it would be this: love Jesus with all your heart and place your trust completely in Him.
