Della Ivers

Della M. Ivers, 95, of 6999 Ivers Road, Vincennes, passed away at 4:20 p.m. Monday October 6, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born August 1, 1919 in Knox County to William T. and Tillie (Mehne) Raney.Della was a member of the Free Methodist Church and had worked at Oak Village Nursing Home. Surviving are her children. Mary Kay Ivers of Oaktown, and John (Sharon) Ivers of Bruceville; 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.Della was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Ernest Ivers who passed away on April 11, 1978; a son, Ernest L. "Cappy" Ivers; a sister, Caroline Seals; and her two brothers, Ottis and Thomas Raney.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 Friday October 10, 2014 at Goodwin Funeral Home.
