Don G. Baker

Don G. Baker, 72, of Vincennes, passed away at his residence on December 15, 2019.He was born in Vincennes, Indiana to Frank and A. Louise (Denton) Baker.Don had worked for the Perdue Farms in Washington. A 1965 graduate of Wheatland High School, he was a member of the Wheatland United Methodist Church and for the last seven years a member of the First United Methodist Church in Vincennes. In his free time Don enjoyed bicycling, railroading, and history.Surviving is a brother Bob Baker and his husband Jack Melamed of Bethesda MD; and a sister Martha Gentle and her husband Kenneth of Austin, TX.He was preceded in death by his parents.A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Friday, December 20, 2019 at First United Methodist Church in Vincennes with Rev. Matt Swisher officiating. Visitation will be from Noon until the service.
