Donna J. Neighbors

Donna Jean Neighbors, 81, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully on July 27, 2025, in her home.

Born on September 26, 1943, in Vincennes, Donna was a devoted wife, loving mother, cherished grandmother, and proud great-grandmother. She married the love of her life, William B. Neighbors, on July 29, 1961. Together, they built a life centered around family, love, and shared adventures.

Donna dedicated her life to her home and family. She found joy in being a homemaker, creating a warm and welcoming space for all who entered. She especially loved spending time with her family and traveling on memorable family vacations that brought everyone closer together.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William B. Neighbors; her parents, Claude and Carolyn McCrary; her brothers, Paul, Roy, Dale, and Bill; and her sisters, Helen, Bea, and Sue.

Donna is survived by her son, William R. Neighbors and his wife Debra; her daughter, Gail Lynn Eisenhut (Ryan Ruggles); her grandchildren, Joey A. Chesser and his wife Tawny, and Katy L. Chesser (Christy Biggs); and her great-grandchildren, Lyla, Luke, Jacob, and Ledie. Sisters, Ann Schultz (Karl); Judy Steimel. Her legacy of love and kindness lives on through each of them.

A private family service will be held to honor Donna's life. Family and friends may join the immediate family during the graveside service Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at 10 am in Memorial Park Cemetery.

Donna will be deeply missed and forever remembered for her unwavering love, gentle spirit, and the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
