It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Dorothy J. Williams, 95 of Washington, IN. Dorothy passed away at 11:55 am on March 24, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Dorothy was born on January 11, 1931, in Washington, IN the daughter of Ernest and Ruth (Kelly) Kramer. She married Willis Williams, Jr. on September 12, 1950, and he preceded her in death on January 9, 2017.
Dorothy was a faithful member of Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles, trips to French Lick and scratch off lottery tickets. In her younger years she and her husband Willis enjoyed camping at KOA Campground. They also enjoyed taking their grandchildren picnicing every summer. Most importantly, she enjoyed family time and getting together each Sunday for family meals.
Dorothy had five daughters, Linda Wagler and her husband Ray, Susie Pfoff and her husband Jim, Patty Robling, Barb (Rocki) Padgett, Beth Solliday; her grandchildren, Michelle (Jason) Davis, Jarrod (Angie) Wagler, Andrew (Haley) Wagler, Brandon (Amy) Pfoff, Shannan (Bobby) Armstrong, Amber Robling, Rhett (Chris) Burton, Rochelle (Jeremy John) Evans, Darin Padgett; thirteen great grandchildren, and several great-great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband, Willis Williams, Jr., her daughter, Barb Padgett, son-in-law, Dean Solliday, great grandson, Brian Robling, and her siblings, Margaret Yarbrough, Mary Shanks, Robert Kramer and Eugene Kramer.
Friends may visit with Dorothy's family from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Friday, March 27, 2026, at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Church, 315 NE 3rd St., Washington, IN, 47501. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the conclusion of the visitation beginning at 12:00 pm with Rev. Paul Ferguson celebrating. Dorothy will be laid to rest next to her husband Willis at Sugarland Memory Gardens. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Dorothy and her family.
