Douglas "Doug" Atkins, 38, of Edwardsport, Indiana passed away on September 29, 2025. He was born in Vincennes, Indiana on June 4, 1987, to Dwight Atkins and Kelli Williams. Doug graduated from South Knox High School in 2006.
In his free time, Doug, or also known as Omegawizard87, could be found playing video games, watching WWE, spending time with his family, fishing, spending time with his pets, and sport shooting. He was a loving father, son, brother and uncle. He will be deeply missed.
Doug was preceded in death by his grandparents Jay (Donna) Williams and Mary (Lem) Atkins.
He is survived by his parents Dwight Atkins and Kelli Williams; daughter Anika Atkins; siblings Jay Atkins and Donna (Jon) Maloy; nieces Aurora and Lilly; nephews Braxton, Lexington and Silas; aunts and uncles Susan (Jim) Scott, Sharon (Danny) Moyes, Bill Kellams, Jim Atkins; and several friends and extended family.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Doug. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
