Edgar Burns

Edgar L. Burns, 72, passed away at 6:30 am on December 6, 2018 at Glenburn Nursing Home in Linton, IN. Ed was born on July 13, 1946 to Robert and Alma May (Fitzpatric) Burns.He served his country in the United States Army and worked in maintenance for Vincennes University. Ed loved gardening, flowers, cats and fishing.Survivors include his significant other, Shirley Young of Linton; sister, Bettie McCargo of Terre Haute, and brother Dennis Burns of Terre Haute.Friends may visit with Ed's family from 5-7 pm on Thursday, December 13, 2018 at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home, 505 Main Street, Vincennes. Ed's funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 14, 2018 at the funeral home.
