Ethan Lane Abel, 21, of Vincennes, IN passed away suddenly on August 9, 2024. He was born in Vincennes, IN on May 30, 2003, to Shane and Sara (Utt) Abel. Ethan attended South Knox High School and graduated in 2021. He went to work at Toyota Manufacturing and continued his career at Walmart.
Ethan was full of life and was known for being a jokester. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, playing baseball and on his PlayStation, building Legos, farming with his Papaw, and spending time with family. He always had a smile on his face and loved life. He will be deeply missed by all.
He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal great grandparents; grandfather Steve Harper Sr.; and uncle Steven Harper Jr.
Ethan is survived by his parents Shane and Sara Abel; daughter Lia Marie Miller Abel; sister Kenzie Abel; maternal grandparents Jerry and Terri Utt; paternal grandparents Rose Harper, Greg and Gaye Abel; maternal great-grandmother Zola Junkin; dogs Merle and Charley; and numerous cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Ethan. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 524 Broadway St. from 11 am to 3 pm. A Celebration of Life will begin promptly at 3 pm following visitation.
Memorial donations can be made to Lia M. Miller Abel in honor of Ethan.
