Euretta Neighbors

Euretta Ann Neighbors, 73, 3801 Old Bruceville Rd., Vincennes, passed away at 4:20 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2011 at New Willow Manor. She was born May 9, 1937, in Vincennes, the daughter of James and Lucille (Goffner) Neighbors. Euretta was a graduate of St. Rose Academy. She had worked as a nurse at Lafencinas Hospital in Pasadena, California for twenty-five years. Following her retirement, she moved back to Vincennes. She attended Old Cathedral Catholic Church.Survivors include her mother, Lucille, of Princeton; brother, Jim (Leona) Goffner of Vincennes; nieces, Crystal Campbell, Peggy Taylor, Linda Flower, Roni Greer, Tracy Goffner, Tony Goffner, Jeanie Goffner, Sandy Goffner, Donna Goffner and Eva Neighbors; nephew, David Neighbors; and aunts and uncles, George Goffner and Gene (Patty) Goffner.Preceding her in death were her father, James; nephews, Stephen Goffner and Ralph Goffner; and aunts and uncles, Bill Goffner, Cora Mae Goffner, Goldie Goffner and Chris Neighbors.A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 19, at 3:00 p.m. at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway St. with Rev. Kenny Morris officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until the time of service on Saturday.
