It is with a heavy heart that we share the news of Gregory Lowell Kelso, who passed away on June 7, 2026, at the age of 62. Born on March 5, 1964, in Vincennes Greg was the son of Lowell and Linda Kelso.

Greg wasn't just a carpenter; he was the guy who could turn a piece of wood into something truly amazing. When Greg wasn't building or repairing, he could often be found casting a line out on the water, enjoying the peace that fishing brought him.

In his younger days, Greg was a true athlete who loved sports. But what really set Greg apart was his friendly nature-he never met a stranger. No matter where he went, he had a smile that could light up a room and a warmth that made everyone feel welcome.

Survivors include his mother and father, Lowell and Linda Kelso of Vincennes; son, Jeremy D. Odom; sister, Debbie Conrad and her husband Tim of Bruceville; brothers, Steve Kelso of Vincennes, Mike Kelso and his wife Lori of Vincennes; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Greg is preceded in death by his son, C. Eric Odom and his brother, Jay Kelso.

Friends may visit with Greg's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2026 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. Greg's funeral service will begin at the conclusion of visitation starting at 1:00 pm with Pastor David Bannister officiating. Greg will be laid to rest in Upper Indiana Cemetery. Online memories may be shared with Greg's family and friends at www.goodwinsieversfh.com. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Greg and his family.
