Heather Joy Kendall

Heather Joy Kendall, 50, of Washington, Indiana, passed away on May 26, 2025, at 5:00pm at her residence in Washington.


She was born on April 14, 1975, to the late Debra Kay Fritz in Quincy, Illinois.


Heather was the proud Mother of Dalton and Kirsten. She loved her family and friends, and especially enjoyed spending time with all of them, particularly her grandchildren. She enjoyed being outdoors, fishing, camping and spending as much time as she could doing so. She was an EMT and a member of the Ohio township fire department. She loved being involved and helping in her community including the November 2005 tornado in Evansville Indiana where she saved countless lives during disaster relief and cleanup. In her spare time, when she wasn’t able to be outside, she enjoyed watching crime dramas on television. Heather will be deeply missed by all whom knew her.


Survivors of Heather include her children, Dalton Watts and his wife Danielle of Vincennes, IN, and Kirsten Watts of Odon, IN; her grandchildren, Braylon, Serenity, Grayson, Lillian, Mia, Kash, Kaeli, Ariel, Mason; her great nephews Axel, Ethan, and Layton; her sister; Trisha Hamilton and her Fiancé Gretchen Wheater; her nephews, Anthony “Jed” Baang and his wife Suzanne, and Andrew “Zach” Sheets and his wife Amber; her niece, Kaylynn “Shawnee” Sheets; her uncles, Guy Fritz and his wife Debbie, Lester Fritz, Paul Fritz, and John Ladage and his wife Andee; her aunt, Cathy Fritz; and 11 cousins and extended family.


She was preceded in death by her Mother, Debra Fritz; her brother, Rick Hamilton; her grandfather, Richard Guy Fritz; her grandmother, Velma Ladage; and her aunts, Viola Fritz and Vickie Hinds.


A commitment service to the Lord to honor Heather where she will rest in peace with her much loved and missed Mother Debra Kay Fritz at Crane Easter Cemetery, in Calhoun, Georgia on June 28, 2025 at 1pm.
