Helen B. Devine, 98, died peacefully at BridgePointe Helath Campus with her granddaughter at her side on Wednesday April 9, 2014.She was born on February 21, 1916 in Knox County to John and Mabel (Crowe) Howerton.Helen was a member of the First Christian Church and had worked for Prestolite for 20 years. She was an avid bingo lady and volunteered as a pink lady for 40 years.Surviving are her grandchildren, Anita (John) Lafferty and Greg Devine; her great grandchildren, Amanda (Bob) Woodworth and Branham (Krystal) Lafferty, and three great great grandchildren.Private services were held Monday.
