Henrietta "Etta" Carroll

Henrietta "Etta" Helen Carroll, 95, of Plainville, passed away at 10:45 am Wednesday, September 12, 2018 at The Villages at Oakridge in Washington.She was born Jan. 1, 1923 to William H. and Maude A. (Gilley) Drew in Daviess County.Henrietta was a member of the Cornettsville United Methodist Church.Surviving are her sons, Richard Carroll and his wife Shannon, of Galveston, TX and Roger Carroll and his friend Susan Mead of Washington; two grandsons Ian Carroll and Michael Carroll; and two great grandchildren, Anna Rose Carroll and Samuel Carroll.Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband Robert Carroll whom she married June 8, 1946 and preceded her on May 3, 2013; a son Robert M. Carroll, Jr., and her brothers and sisters, Freda Fleenor, Lillian Baumert, Berniece Sturgeon, Imogene Arthur, James Drew.Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Sugarland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 4-7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Etta Carroll.
