Jack Almy

Jack L. Almy, of Vincennes, passed away March 9, 2012 at Bridge Pointe Health Campus. Born April 18, 1931 in Vincennes, he was the son of Garnet "Dick" and Velma (Manning) Almy. They preceded him, as well as one brother. Survivors include his daughter, Darla Almy of Athens, TN; sisters, Barbara Kolehouse of Vincennes, Carolyn Goff of Oaktown, IN, and Sarrah Berry of Sacramento, CA; and a brother, Fred Almy of Vincennes. Jack was a business owner, having owned a tavern and a loan company. He was a member of the Harmony Society and BPOE #291. Friends may gather at Goodwin Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, from 12:00-2:00 on Thursday, March 15. A sharing of memories will begin at 2:00. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Pet Port.
