James Rickard

James I. Rickard Sr. 67, of 520 S. 13th, Vincennes, passed away at 3:49 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2014 at Good Samaritan Hospital.He was born July 17, 1946 in Oaktown, Indiana to Claude and Della (Cogswell) Rickard. Jim retired as a rural route carrier for the Post Office. She served in the Army during Vietnam and belonged to the V.F.W and the Military Order of the Cooties.Surviving is a son, James Rickard Jr. of Vincennes; a step son, Cory Carson; a sister, Susie Theriac and several grandchildren.He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Regina Rickard; a step daughter, Angie Hamilton; a brother, Claude Earl Rickard; and a sister, Marcia K. Rickard.There will be no services and a graveside will be held for James and Regina Rickard in the Chauncey Cemetery in Chauncey Illinois at 11:00 a.m. Friday June 20, 2014 with Ray Tromley officiating Online condolences may be made at www.goodwinfamilyfh.com
