James Wheatley

James R. Wheatley. 84, passed away at 11:00 pm on June 23, 2013 at the New Willow Manor Nursing Home. James was born on July 9, 1928 in Vincennes the son of Noble and Hazel (Nightengale) Wheatley. He married Barbara Thais on November 25, 1948 and she preceded him in death on March 30, 2008.Jim worked as a Route Salesman for Colonial Bakery and later Lewis Bakery. He served his country in the United States Navy during WW II. He enjoyed playing euchre, his children and grandchildren and working in his yard. He was also a member of the American Legion and VFW. Jim was very active in organizing his class reunions. He frequently told his family that the only thing he wanted in his obituary was,
