Jamie Hopper

Jamie Hopper, 45, of Vincennes, Indiana passed away surrounded by her family on May 5, 2025. She was born in Yankton, South Dakota on January 26, 1980, to the late James Sr. and Mary (Pierson) Hopper. Jamie and her partner Lisa Holt committed their lives to each other in 2002 and were blessed with 23 years together. She was a homemaker and mother to her fur and fish babies, Marley, Cooper, Fred and Barney. Jamie was an avid Colts fan and could often be seen wearing Colts shirts. She was very passionate about her family and would do anything for them. In her free time, Jamie enjoyed yard work, playing video games, and riding her electric bike. She will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Sr. and Mary Hopper.

Jamie is survived by her lifelong partner Lisa Holt; daughter Tonya (Aaron) Buescher; grandchildren Zoey Buescher, Daija Gaines, Devin Hitt; brothers John Meadows, Tony (Jennifer) Meadows, Robert (Mendy) Meadows, Jimbo Hopper; nieces and nephews Stormy (Skyler) Fye, James (Sarah) Meadows, Mattye Meadows, Cam Meadows; great-grandchild Oliver Adams; great-nieces and nephews Copper and Brookyln Fye, Peyton and Konner Meadows; and numerous friends and extended family.

Goodwin-Sievers is honored to be entrusted with the care of Jamie. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
