Jeffrey Alvis

Jeffrey "Jeff" L. Alvis passed away March 21, 2011 at his home. He worked as a coalminer, with his last job at the 5 Star Mine. Jeff was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses. Born Jan. 9, 1969, in Vincennes, IN, he was the son of David & Jeanne (Hatton) Alvis. They survive and live in Vincennes. Also surviving are his children, Parker, Shania, & Olivia Alvis; a step-son, Jackson; & his brother, Brett Alvis of Vincennes. Jeff is preceded by his brother, Brian. The family will receive friends on Friday, March 25, from 1:00 - 2:00 at Goodwin Funeral Home. His funeral service will follow at 2:00. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
