Jimmie W. Berry

Jimmie W. Berry, 79, passed away peacefully at his residence in Plainville, IN, on August 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

He was born on December 4, 1946, to the late Virgil & Dorothy (Peach) Berry in Knox County, IN.

Jim attended Decker High School and was a member of the 1965 graduating class.

On August 18, 1967, Jim married the love of his life, Sandra Berry, and they shared over 59 years together. Jim spent his working career as a truck driver for various fertilizer companies, most recently the Co-Op. In his free time, Jim enjoyed farming, fishing, and deer hunting.

Survivors of Jim include his wife, Sandra Berry; his son, James Berry and his wife Nicole; his siblings, Peggy Miles, Nancy Shots, Dave Berry, and Ben Berry; his grandchildren, Kendal Berry & Samantha Berry; and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Virgil & Dorothy; and his siblings, Bud Berry, Joe Berry, Dick Berry, and Bill Berry.

A private family graveside service will be held for Jim. He will be laid to rest at the Sandborn Cemetery in Sandborn, IN.
