Johnny William Tislow, 84, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away at his residence on October 22, 2025.
He was born on March 24, 1941, to the late Chris & Louise (Wanke) Tislow in Vincennes.
Johnny spent his childhood and adolescent years growing up in Knox County. He worked for many years as a truck driver for a company near Spencer, Indiana, which eventually led him back to Vincennes where he worked for Wabash Coffee for several years.
In his free time, Johnny liked to watch and read Western’s before he lost his eyesight. He also was a big supporter and donator to St. Jude’s children hospital, In Memory of his precious daughter, Cammy.
Survivors of Johnny include several nieces and nephews; his two special nephews, David and Michael Tislow; several great nieces and nephews, and many cousins. In his later years, his niece took care of him, and they shared many stories about the family together.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Tislow; and his children, Cammy Tislow, and Johnny Tislow; and his siblings, Robert, Bud, Mildred, Rosie, Beatrice, and Wilma.
Graveside burial for Johnny will be announced at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Johnny and his family.
