Joy West

Joy West, 71,of Vincennes, passed away at her home on Aug. 6, 2013. She had taught for 44 years, at Vigo School. Joy was a member of the Free Methodist Church. Born Nov. 23, 1941 in Vincennes, she was the daughter of Leland Everett and Gertie (Fidler) West. Her parents preceded her, as well as a brother, Everett West. Surviving is her brother, Ron (Linda) West of Vincennes; a nephew, Matt West of Vincennes; and a great-nephew, Matthew West of Vincennes. The family will receive friends on Thursday, from 5:00 - 7:00, at Gardner-Brockman Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Friday, at 2:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
