Judith Kay Davison, a beloved educator and cherished matriarch, peacefully departed from this world on December 30, 2025, at the age of 85. Born on September 4, 1940, Judith dedicated her life to nurturing young minds as a dedicated school teacher for the Vincennes School Corporation. Her commitment to education was underscored by her attainment of a Master's Degree, which she pursued with passion and dedication.

Beyond her professional achievements, Judith was known for her vibrant personality and wide range of interests. An avid reader, she found joy in the pages of books and fostered a love of literature in her students. Her compassionate spirit shone brightly through her active involvement in the Kid's Hope mentor program, where she made a lasting impact on the lives of many children. Judith also expressed her creativity through sewing and knitting, crafting beautiful items that will always be treasured by those who received them. Music was another of her passions; she played the piano with grace and enthusiasm, filling her home with melody and warmth. Additionally, Judith found pleasure in simple joys, such as shopping at Big Lot, where she loved to explore and discover new treasures.

Judith's family was her pride and joy. She is survived by her loving sons, Dan (Gail) Davison and Patrick (Elizabeth) Davison. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brittany Davison, Cathlene (Zach) Snyder, and Bradley (Makayla) Davison, along with her great-grandchildren Lyla, Siena, and Nolan, who will carry forward the values she instilled in them. Judith also leaves behind her sisters, Sue Wick and Donita Boyd, who shared in her life’s journey.

She is reunited in spirit with her late husband, Butch Davison, and her late brother, Nick Seibel, as well as her parents, Clarence and Kathryn Seibel. Judith's profound influence on her family, students, and community leaves a void that will be deeply felt.

Judith Kay Davison’s legacy is one of love, education, and creativity. Her warm heart and nurturing presence will forever echo in the lives she touched. She will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.

Visitation will be held on Saturday January 3, 2026 at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway Street, Vincennes from 11-1 with a funeral service beginning at 1 pm. Burial will be in Memorial Park. Goodwin-Sievers is honored and privileged to be entrusted with the care of Judith and her family.
