With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Judith Ann Farren, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, who peacefully departed this life on July 1, 2025.

Born on August 11, 1960, Judy, as she was affectionately known, brought warmth, laughter, and joy to all who knew her. She was the daughter of the late Mervin and Billie (Edmondson) Cummins and lived a life full of purpose, love, and generosity.

Judy dedicated over 30 years of her career to Kimball, where she was respected for her strong work ethic and genuine kindness. Outside of work, she enjoyed bowling and was well known for her spirited participation in local leagues in Linton. She was a proud member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles, where she formed lasting friendships and created countless cherished memories. A lover of bingo and good company, Judy embraced the simple joys of life, especially time spent with her family and friends.

Family was the center of Judy’s world. She and her devoted husband, Bill Farren Sr., created a home filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories. She delighted in hosting family gatherings, sharing golf cart rides, and relaxing afternoons by the pool. Her enthusiasm for life was reflected in her love for her Mustang, a symbol of her vibrant and spirited personality.

Judy is survived by her loving husband, Bill; her sons, Jason Hooten (Chelsea) and Billy Farren Jr. (Amy); her stepdaughters, Angie Gottman (Jerry) and PJ Rawley (Nathan); her siblings, Mervin Cummins (Susan) and Mary Woodall (Darrell); 14 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and several beloved nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Eva Russell.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 7, 2025, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery.

Let us come together in memory of Judy to celebrate her legacy of love, laughter, and devotion to those around her. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
