It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Judith "Judy" A. Kitchin, who departed this life peacefully on August 5, 2026, at the age of 89 with her family by her side. Born on September 9, 1936, in Decatur County, IN she was the daughter of Charles and Audra (Craig) Connall. She married Donald Kitchin on June 12, 1955, and he preceded her in death.
Judy spent her formative years on a dairy farm, where she began each day at dawn, milking cows and embracing the simplicity of rural life.
Judy was a devoted member of Sandborn United Methodist Church and the Order of Eastern Star, where she forged lasting bonds within her community. Throughout her life, the love she had for her family was at the center of her heart. Their laughter and accomplishments filled her days with joy, and she took great delight in attending their activities, always celebrating their milestones with pride.
In addition to her family life, Judy showcased her passion for agriculture by exhibiting Brown Swiss Dairy Cattle at the state level, earning numerous accolades that spoke to her dedication and expertise. She also found joy in riding Harley's with her husband and close friends-an adventurous spirit that endeared her to many. Her zest for life led to shared experiences on several cruises with family and friends.
Judy had a flair for fashion; she loved selecting vibrant shoes and clothing that reflected her vivacious personality. Her unique style, alongside her warm heart, will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
