It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Judy Kay Froeschke, aged 82, on December 15, 2025, just days shy of her 83rd birthday. She married William Thomas Froeschke on November 6, 1961, and he preceded her in death on December 28, 1994.
A proud graduate of Decker High School, Class of 1961, Judy dedicated her life to her family, her community, and her passions. She was a devoted member of St. Peter Lutheran Church. Judy not only helped her husband in the farming endeavors but also shared her culinary talents as a cook for St. Peter's Lutheran School and at Froeschke's Tavern. In addition to her work in the church, she owned and operated Froeschke's Tavern.
Judy had a deep love for sewing and especially cross-stitching, which she pursued as a cherished hobby. She found joy in cooking delightful meals and nurturing her beautiful flower garden, which brought color and life to her home.
Judy is survived by her beloved children, Jaclyn Ray and her husband Adam of Vincennes, Mike Froeschke and his wife Rachelle of Vincennes, Thomas Froeschke and his wife Katie of Decker Chapel; her grandchildren, Jayden, Adalyn and Maura Ray, Clayton Froeschke, Karson McClure, Mallory Froeschke, Ashley Koby, William, Trenton, Grady, and Henley Froeschke, her great grandchildren, Benjamin and Lianna Koby, as well as several nieces and nephews and Karen Seymour a special cousin that she considered a sister.
