IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Judith Agnes
Harrison
January 10, 1942 – March 6, 2026
Visitation
Saint Francis Xavier Old Cathedral Catholic Church, Vincennes
9:30 am - 12:30 pm (Eastern time)
Judith A. "Judy" Harrison, 84, passed away Friday, March 6, 2026, at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville surrounded by the love of her family.
She was born on January 10, 1942, in Vincennes to Harold C. and Dorothy L. (Recker) Spalding. On August 31, 1963, she married John Harrison, son of Elmer and Helen Ruth (Chamberlain) Harrison of Vincennes, and they shared over 62 years together.
Judy graduated from Saint Rose Academy in 1960 and St. Mary's School of Nursing in 1963. A registered nurse, she worked in surgery at Good Samaritan Hospital early on, and after raising her family as a stay-at-home mom, she retired as an office nurse for Dr. Jacqmain.
A lifelong member of St. Francis Xavier Parish, Judy found happiness in the simple beauty of nature. She loved birdwatching, caring for her flowers, mushroom hunting, taking daily walks, and summer days spent with her family around the pool, laughing and enjoying one another's company.
Survivors include her husband, John; children: John (Jill) Harrison II, Jody (John) Schulze of Vincennes, and Amy (Dean Welp) Harrison of Jasper; grandchildren and step-grandchildren: Morgan (Ian) Frink, Makenzie Harrison, Levi (Christin) Wyant, Zoe (Matt) Goldfarb, Haviland (Logan Owen) Cardinal; Eric (Nettie) Wilson, Breeze (Terry) Johnson, Laura Schulze, Quinten Schulze; Clayton Greis and his fiancé Rachel Erlebacher, and Shelby Greis and her fiancé Jonathan Prince; 9 great grandchildren; and brother Robert (Colleen) Spalding of Evansville.
Judy will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Her love will continue to live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind-and in every birdsong and every flower that blooms.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28th, at Old Cathedral Catholic Church, 205 Church Street, Vincennes, from 9:30 am until 12:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will also be celebrated at Old Cathedral by Father Tony Ernst at 12:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Francis Xavier Parish - Old Cathedral Church Building Fund, 106 S 3rd Street, Vincennes, IN 47591.
Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Judy and her family.
