Kathy Elaine Tilley

Kathy Elaine Tilley, 72 passed away at 7:57 am on August 3, 2025, at Amber Manor in Petersburg, IN. Kathy was born on January 27, 1953, in Washington, IN and is the daughter of Lynn George and Lois Marie (Clark) Theroff. She married Rudy Tilley on November 6, 1971.

Kathy was a school teacher for several years at the Pilgrim Holiness School. She attended Twin Oaks Church in Petersburg, IN where she was actively involved in many ministries. Most importantly she was very involved with her children, who she loved dearly.

Survivors include her husband, Rudy Tilley of Petersburg, IN; her siblings, Terry Theroff and his wife Sharon of Washington, IN, Mike Theroff of Petersburg, IN, Jane Hooker and her husband Rev. Jack Hooker of Westfield, IN; daughter-in-law, Cindy Gandee, son-in-law, Aaron Thomas; brother-in-law, Terry Tilley, sisters-in-law, Connie Louise Howard, Candy Smith, Karen Faith McKinnley, and several nieces and nephews. Kathy is preceded in death by her parents, her son, Jaret Christopher Tilley, her daughter, Jillene Thomas, her sister-in-law, Judith Gasser and her brothers-in-law, Earl Wayne and Richard Naaman Tilley.

Friends may visit with Kathy's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Wednesday, August 6, 2025 at Twin Oaks Church, 1911 E. County Road 650 N., Petersburg, IN 47567. Pastors Clark Gray and Brent Myers will officiate and Kathy will be laid to rest in Aikman Creek Cemetery in Washington, IN. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Kathy and her family.
