Kevin Eugene Affolder

Kevin Eugene Affolder, born on February 9, 1960, in Evansville, Indiana, passed away on January 27, 2026, in Vincennes, Indiana. He lived a life filled with devotion, not only as a cherished member of the 1st United Methodist Church but also as a loving caretaker for his mother throughout her life.

Kevin earned his bachelor's degree in business from Indiana State University, where he cultivated a sense of discipline and passion that would carry into his career and personal endeavors. Known for his nurturing spirit, he took immense pride in caring for his family and remained a steadfast support system for those around him.

Outside of his professional life, Kevin was an enthusiastic collector of comic books and action figures, reflecting a playful side that brought joy and inspiration to many. His collections were not just hobbies, but a testament to his appreciation for storytelling and the fondness he had for the characters that shaped his childhood.

Kevin is survived by his beloved brother, Doug (Janice) Affolder; sister, Lynn (Bill) Dotterweich; nieces, Katherine Dotterweich and Jamie Affolder; and nephew, Jason Affolder. Those passing before him are his parents William and Wilma Affolder.

Kevin's legacy will live on through the lives he touched, the stories he shared, and the memories held dear by those who knew him. His spirit will continue to inspire kindness and care in all who remember him. Kevin will be laid to rest in Memorial Park.
