Leroy Reitmeyer

Leroy D. Reitmeyer, 75, of Vincennes, passed away February 27, 2015, at Good Samaritan Hospital.Leroy was retired from Prestolite. He had also worked for the Vincennes Community School Corporation, both as a school bus driver and custodian. Many people knew him from the years he worked on cars at his home. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church.Born August 11, 1939, he was the son of Orville and Helen (Ellerman) Reitmeyer. On December 12, 1959, he married Phyllis (McGregor) Reitmeyer, and she survives. Also surviving is his daughter, Debbie Lohr, of Kingsland, GA; his sister, Diana Goldenstein, of Decatur, IL; and his grandchildren, Jesse Haynes and Nikholaas Haynes.A public graveside service will be held on Tuesday, at 11:00, at Memorial Park Cemetery.
