It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Linda Elouise Blackburn, who left this world on June 8, 2026, in Vincennes, Indiana. Born in Clarksville, Tennessee, on July 1, 1946, Linda filled her life with warmth, laughter, and love, leaving a lasting mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Linda was a devoted mother to her children, Sandra Glass Frey husband Mark, Cheryl Glass Fox, husband Keith, Paula Glass Tabor husband Brett, and a loving wife to her husband, Robert Lee Blackburn. She is also survived by her two grandchildren Jarod Tabor and Trey Fox. She cherished her family deeply and took great pride in creating a nurturing home filled with love. She is preceded in death by her father Michael Savage Black, and mother Esther Pauline Schultz Black.
An insurance agent by profession, Linda brought a unique blend of professionalism and personal touch to her work. But outside the office, her true passions radiated. She had an undeniable love for reading and spent countless hours immersed in her favorite books. She was a dedicated collector of Longberger baskets and cherished Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls, treasures that reflected her vibrant spirit. Linda poured her heart into cooking and baking, delighting family and friends with her culinary creations. Her kitchen was often a hub of laughter and joy, where loved ones gathered to share not just meals, but memories. She found peace in nature, relishing the beauty of watching birds and tending to her flowers, crafting a backyard oasis that mirrored her joyful spirit.
Linda Elouise Blackburn will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who loved her.
