With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Linda S. Hagemeier, Linda was born on June 19, 1943, in Vincennes and she departed this earthly realm on July 8, 2026, at the age of 83. Linda is the daughter of Glenn and Geneva (Sheren) McCrary. She married Michael J. Hagemeier and he preceded her in death in 2006.

Linda was a steadfast partner and devoted farm wife, working side by side with her husband, Mike, cultivating not only the land but also nurturing a family rooted in love and faith. She exemplified the heart of a community, dedicating herself to both her family and her church. As a faithful member of the First Baptist Church, Linda found purpose and joy in her spiritual family, offering her time and talents to serve others and embodying the principles of compassion and kindness.

Linda is survived by her best friend, Tom Harvey of Oaktown; sons, Scott Hagemeier of Vincennes, Doug Hagemeier and his wife Amy of Bruceville; her brother, Jim McCrary of Vincennes; grandchildren, Kayla Richter and her husband Tyler, Kyle Hagemeier and his spouse Niv, Kyndra Hagemeier and her husband James, Kelsey Crago, Devin Hagemeier and his wife Haley, Jospeh Hagemeier and wife Mattie, Dylan Hagemeier; great grandchildren, Greyson, Gibson, and Gioia Richter, Charlotte Lee, Stella Lee, Nora McCord, Lincoln Estes, Arthur Crago, Gwendolyn Hagemeier, Layla Ava and Emerie Hagemeier. As well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and in-laws. Linda is preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Geneva McCrary, her husband Michael J. Hagemeier, and seven siblings, Tom, Gene, Jack, Bob, Maurice, Larry and Norma.

Friends may visit with Linda's family from 11:00 am until the hour of service time of 1:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 524 Broadway, Vincennes, IN 47591. Linda will be laid to rest next to her husband Michael in Upper Indiana Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Freelandville Community Home, 310 Carlisle St., Freelandville, IN 47535.
