Linda Louise Gray, 78, of Vincennes, Indiana, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Saturday, July 12, 2025, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Vincennes.
She was born on July 1, 1947, to the late Charles O. & Loretta L. (Hunckler) Miller in Vincennes, Indiana.
Linda attended Lincoln High School. She worked as a dietary supervisor at Good Samaritan Hospital for over 20 years, and after her retirement, she went on to start working for the Vincennes Community School Corporation at both Franklin Elementary and Lincoln High School.
In Linda’s free time, she enjoyed spending time at family get-togethers, gardening, dancing with her husband Ed, and going out for lunch with her friends. She loved her family deeply and she will be missed by all who knew her.
Linda is survived by her husband Florice “Ed”; her son, Tim Deaton; stepchildren, Travis Gray, Ashley Gray, and Nicole Gray; her siblings, Sharon (Larry) Laswell, Charlotte Smith, Debbie (Jack) Qualkenbush, Diane Koester, and Charles “Chuck” R. Miller; her grandchildren, Ashlee (Jarek) Morrison, Dustin (Lindsey) Bono, Austin Deaton, Lexi (Cameron) Gray, Blake Gray, Liam Gray, Lyla Gray, Lillian Thomas, and Grayson George; her great-grandchildren, Tristyn Riker, Waverlee Morrison, Emmitt Morrison, Ledger Morrison, and Everett Bono.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Loretta; her sister, Janet Hart; her brother, William “Bill” Miller; her daughter, Lori Bono, and her great-grandson Jensen Morrison.
A celebration of life for Linda will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, from 1:00-5:00pm ET at the American Legion Post No. #73 in Vincennes. Online condolences may be shared at goodwinsieversfh.com
