Louis Ray Archbold, 80, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2026, at The Waters of Princeton.

Louis was born on June 10, 1946, in Cannelburg, IN, the son of Charles Edward Archbold and Dorothy Archbold.

He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force and he worked as a laborer for Perdue Farms in the turkey industry. He enjoyed spending time playing euchre.

He is survived by his sisters, Peggy Melton of Vincennes and Doris Fellows of Bruceville; his brother, James Archbold of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.

Louis was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Correna Wininger.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date. Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home is privileged and honored to be entrusted with the care of Louis and his family.
