Manielle S. "Mandee" Backus, 39, of Vincennes, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at 10:23pm at Good Samaritan Hospital.She was born June 16, 1979 in Vincennes, Indiana to Manuel and Carolyn (Brand) Reeves.Manielle worked as a registered nurse for HLS. A Lincoln High School graduate, Manielle played softball for the Alices.Surviving are her parents, Manuel and Carolyn Reeves; a son, Breven Backus of Vincennes; and two brothers, Mark and Scott Reeves of Vincennes.Graveside services will be Friday, September 7, 2018 at 10:00 am at Memorial Park Cemetery. Goodwin Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Manielle S. Backus.
