Margaret Ellen (Fields) Lee, 85, Washington, died at 4:58 p.m. Thursday at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn MI.Born Feb. 20, 1934, in Daviess County, she was the daughter of Gilbert G. and L. Pauline (Fitzgerald) Fields.A 1952 graduate of Washington High School, she was a telephone operator at Indiana Bell in Washington, then Daviess County Hospital. She attended First Baptist Church.She married Delmar Royce Lee on Jan. 30, 1953. He preceded her in death on Mar. 14, 2009. Her parents, her siblings; Eleanor M. Purdue, John W., James R., and Alice J. Williams, also preceded her in death.She has one daughter, Cathy Al-Ansari of Dearborn Heights, MI.; six grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren.Friends may visit with the family from 11:00 - 1:00, on Tuesday, at Goodwin-Sievers Funeral Home, 2020 State Street, Washington, IN.Her funeral service will follow at 1:00 Tuesday at the funeral home.
